Here is the new notification is out related to the UPSC department recruitment 2018. Below in the article we explained about the various vacant posts, essential education qualification and other criteria related to these Government jobs.

1). Profile Name: Junior Technical Officer, Directorate of Sugar & Vegetable Oils, Department of Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs. The posts are permanent.
Pay Band: Level-7 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age Bond: Maximum age limit for applying is 30 years.
QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL:
(i) Bachelor of Technology (Oil Technology) or Bachelor of Engineering (Oil Technology) from a recognized University or Institute; or
(ii) Bachelor’s degree in Science with Post Graduate Diploma in Sugar Technology from a recognised University or Institute.
EXPERIENCE: one year experience in sugar technology or edible oils from a recognised institute or organization.

2). Profile Name: Junior Scientific Officer (Biology), Central Forensic Science Laboratory, Directorate of Forensic Science Services, Ministry of Home Affairs. Pay Scale: Level-7 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
Age Bond: Should have age less than 30 years.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Microbiology / Biotechnology with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level/Biochemistry with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level / Physical Anthropology with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level/Forensic Science with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level/ Genetics with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Two years’ experience of Analytical method and research therein in the field of Biology.


3). Job Profile: Scientist ‘B’ (Physics),
Pay Scale: Level-10 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
Age Bond: Must have age less than 35 years for applying this UPSC Recruitment 2018.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Physics / Applied Physics / Biophysics / Bachelor of Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Telecommunication / Computer Science / Instrumentation) / Forensic Science with Physics as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.

4). Profile Name: Deputy Legislative Counsel(Grade-III of Indian Legal Service), Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice (OBC-01, UR-03).
Pay Band: Level-12 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
Age Bond: Must have age less than 50 years.
QUALIFICATIONS: A person shall not be suitable for selection by direct recruitment to a duty post in Grade III, unless he holds a Degree in Law of a recognized University or equivalent and unless he has been a member of a State Judicial Service for a period of not less than ten years or has held a superior post in the legal department of a State for a period of not less than ten years or a Central Government servant who has had experience in legal affairs for not less than ten years or possesses a Master’s Degree in Law and has had teaching or research experience in Law for not less than eight years or is a qualified legal practitioner of not less than 35 years.
NOTE-I: Preference shall be given to a person with experience in legislative drafting.
NOTE-II: In computing the period during which a person has been a qualified legal practitioner, there shall be included any period during which he has hold any office in the State Judicial Service or has held a superior post in the legal department of a State or has been a Central Government servant having experience in legal affairs.
EXPERIENCE: As mentioned in column A above. DUTIES: Legislative Drafting, Scrutiny of Statutory Rules and Orders etc. HQ: New Delhi.

5). Profile Name: Chemist and Metallurgist, Railway Board, Ministry of Railways (SC-01, OBC-01, UR-05).
Pay Band: Level-11 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
Age Bond: Must have age less than 40 years.
QUALIFICATIONS:(i) Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University, or
(ii) Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University, or
(iii) Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (Metallurgy) or Associate Member of Institute of Metals.

6). Profile Name:  Principal Officer (Engineering) cum-Joint Director General (Technical), Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, (UR-01).
Pay Band: Level-14 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
Age Bond: Must have age less than 50 years.
QUALIFICATIONS: (i) Certificate of competency of marine Engineer Officer Class-I(Steam or Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in Section 78 of the Merchant Shipping act,1958(44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said Act and five years’ Service at sea of which one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.
(ii) Certificate of competency of extra first class Engineer as Specified in Section 78 of the Merchant Shipping act,1958(44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said Act and Ten years of experience in survey and inspection of foreign going merchant ships and equipment’s on board such Ships .Service at sea of which one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer. OR Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Operation and Management awarded by the Indian Institute of Technology or equivalent and twelve years of experience in survey and inspection of foreign going merchant ships and equipments on board such ships. OR
M.Sc degree in Maritime Affairs covering all aspects of ‘Administration of Maritime Safety and Environment Protection from the World Maritime University, Malmo, Sweden or equivalent’ and twelve years’ experience in survey and inspection of foreign going merchant ships and equipment on board such ships.
EXPERIENCE: (i) Certificate of competency of marine Engineer Officer Class-I(Steam or Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in Section 78 of the Merchant Shipping act,1958(44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said Act and five year’s Service at sea of which one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer.
(ii) Certificate of competency of extra first class Engineer as Specified in Section 78 of the Merchant Shipping act,1958(44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said Act and Ten year’s of experience in survey and inspection of foreign going merchant ships and equipment’s on board such Ships .Service at sea of which one year service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer. OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Operation and Management awarded by the Indian Institute of Technology or equivalent and twelve years of experience in survey and inspection of foreign going merchant ships and equipments on board such ships. OR
M.Sc degree in Maritime Affairs covering all aspects of ‘Administration of Maritime Safety and Environment Protection from the World Maritime University, Malmo, Sweden or equivalent’ and twelve years experience in survey and inspection of foreign going merchant ships and equipment on board such ships.
NOTE-I: Candidates shall be required pass the sight test conducted by the Maritime Marine Department which may however taken with aids.
NOTE-II: The qualification are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.

7). Profile Name: Lecturer (Medical Laboratory Technology),
Pay Band: Rs. 15,600-39,100 ( PB-3) + Rs. 5,400 (Grade Pay)+ @ DA as applicable (Pre-revised
Age bond: Should have age less than 35 years.
QUALIFICATIONS: (i) Master’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with first class or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution. Or
(ii) MBBS Degree with 55% marks or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.

8). Profile Name: Vice-Principal/Asst. Inspector of Training/Industrial Liaison Officer-cum-Officer-in-Charge/Training Officer, Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of NCT of Delhi (SC-01, UR-05).
Pay Band: Level-10 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC.
Age Bond: Applicants age must be less than 35 years.
QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering/Technology of a recognized university or equivalent.
NOTE: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission, for reasons to the recorded in writing, in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
EXPERIENCE: One year’s professional or teaching experience in an Industrial concern or in Training Institute.
