Salary, Perks and other benefits:

1.  For the post of Navik(Domestic Branch) and Navik(General Duty)basic pay scale is INR  21700 (Pay Scale-3) including dearness allowance and other extra benefits based on nature of duty place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.

2.  For the post of Yantrik the basic pay is INR 29200 (Pay Level-5). In this additional pay you will also get paid Yantrik pay INR 6200 including dearness allowance and other extra benefits based on nature of duty and place of posting as per the regulation.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Navik (Domestic Branch)  The candidates should be 10th Class passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

2. Navik (General Duty) – The candidates should be 10+2 class passed with Physics and Maths from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).

3.Yantrik – The candidates should be 10th Class passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE). (OR) Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) / Electronics OR Engineering of duration 3 to 4 years recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).


Age Relaxation: The candidates minimum age should be 18 years and the maximum age is 22 years:

1.    For Navik (GD) and Yantrik – The candidate should be born between 01 Feb 2000 to 31 Jan 2004.

2.    Navik (Domestic Branch) – The candidate should be born between 01 Apr 2000 to 31 March 2004.

3.    The candidates of SC/ST between age relaxation up to 5 years and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates are applicable if only posts are reserved for them.

Selection Procedure for ICG Exam:

 B. Stage – II

First, the candidate should clear Stage-I exam that is a Computer Based Online Test then on the basis of merit list will be prepared to appear for Stage II.

1.    Physical Fitness Test – The candidates should take this test at their own risk.

·         20 Squats up

·         10 Pushups

·         1.6 km to completed in 7 minute.

  C. Stage – III

The candidate should be a judge based on how they perform in Stage-I & Stage II and all India merit lists will be prepared for Stage III. The duration period of Stage-III is of 1 to 2 days.

   C. Stage – IV

The candidate should clear Stage-III and be on the merit list as per the vacancies available and will be shortlisted for INS Chilka. The candidates should submit all the documents of boards/state government and Universities. If candidate’s documents are not genuine then they will get terminated.

 

Medical standards for ICG job profile:

The candidate recommended for appointment will have to pass the medical examination will be conducted by Military Doctors to ensure that the candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties conducted with the post.

1.              Height – Minimum height of 157 cms. The candidates having domicile of Manipur, Meghalaya, Assam, Mizoram, Garhwal, Tripura, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Andaman, and Nicobar islands height may be reduced up to 5 cms and below 157 cms. The candidates having domicile of Lakshadweep may be height reduced up to 2 cms.

2.              Weight – Proportion to the height and age +10percentage acceptable.

3.              Chest – Should be well proportioned. The minimum expansion of 5 cms.

4.              Hearing – Normal

5.              Tattoo – Tattoos are not permitted on any part of the body.
