In this employment news we are going to provide you Brief Information about the SSC Constable GD Recruitment process 2021. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has broadcast a notification for the employment of Constable GD in following forces in India: “CAPF, SSF, ITBP,SSB, CISF & Assam Raifles”.

The SSC (Staff Selection Commission) department will conduct an open competitive exam for the employment of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

As per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission this SSC Constable GD recruitment process will take place. The employment process will comprise of Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination and Document Verification.

The salient features of the SSC Constable recruitment are as under:

1.1 The Examination will be advertised by SSC based on vacancies intimated by MHA.

1.2 Applications will be accepted through online mode only.

1.3 Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted by the Commission only in English and Hindi.

1.4 Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME) will be scheduled and conducted by the CAPFs.

1.5 Collection of required eligibility certificates/ documents from the candidates and their verification will be carried out at the time of Detailed Medical Examination (DME) by the CAPFs.

Age Bond: Applicants having age between 18 years to 23 years as on 1^st Aug. 2021 can apply for these Govt jobs in India.

Selection Process

There will be a computer-based test for the selection of candidates. The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with the following composition:

1.    General Intelligence and Reasoning

2.    General Knowledge and General Awareness

3.    Elementary Mathematics

4.    English/ Hindi

There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The computer-based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.

17^th July 2021 is the Start Date to fill up the online application form related to the SSC Constable GD Exam.

31^st Aug. 2021 is the Last Date to apply online for these Govt Jobs in India.
