Eligibility Criteria for Applying for this UPSC NDA 1 Exam 2023

Age Bond: Applicants who were born not earlier than 02^nd July 2004 and those who were born not later than 01^st July 2007 can apply for this year's NDA Exam 2023.

 

Education: Applicants who have passed their 12^th class from a well-recognized educational board in India can apply for this UPSC NDA Examination 2023.

 

How much is the application fee for applying for this UPSC NDA Exam 2023?

·      Applicants who belong to the Female/SC/ST Categories have to pay the NIL application fee amount.

·      Those who belong to the other categories have to pay Rs.100 application fee.

Mode of Payment: Applicants have to pay the application fee either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of Any Bank.

Selection Process Related to the NDA Exam 2022

The UPSC recruitment department is going to conduct different rounds for the selection of applicants. The candidates will go through the following rounds of selection:

1.    Written Examination.

2.    SSB /Interview Round.

Applicants who cleared both rounds of selection will be invited for the training. After the competition of the training, candidates will be recruited as Officers under Army, Navy, and Naval wings.

SCHEME OF NDA EXAMINATION 2022

The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject in the written exam of NDA 2022 will be as follows:—

Written Exam Detail:

1. Subject: Mathematics.

Time: 2½ Hours.

Maximum Marks: 300.

2. Subject: General Ability Test.

Time: 2½ Hours.

Maximum Marks: 600.

Total Marks: 900.

SSB Test/Interview Round Detail:

Total Marks: 900.

1. THE PAPERS ON ALL THE SUBJECTS WILL CONSIST OF OBJECTIVE-TYPE QUESTIONS ONLY. THE QUESTION PAPERS (TEST BOOKLETS) OF MATHEMATICS AND PART “B” OF THE GENERAL ABILITY TEST WILL BE SET BILINGUALLY IN HINDI AS WELL AS ENGLISH.

2. . In the question papers, wherever necessary, questions involving the metric system of Weights and Measures only will be set.

3. Applicants must write the papers in their own hands. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write answers for them.

4. The Commission has the discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all the subjects at the examination.

5. The candidates are not permitted to use the calculator or Mathematical or logarithmic table for answering objective-type papers (Test Booklets). They should not, therefore, bring the same inside the Examination Hall.

How much is the application fee for applying UPSC NDA -I 2022 Exam?

·       Applicants who belong to the UR/OBC casts have to pay Rs.100 application fee amount for applying for this UPSC NDA 1 Exam 2022.

·       Applicants who belong to the SC/ST/Female category need not pay any application fee amount.

Mode of application fee payment: The applicants have to pay the application fee using SBI Bank Challan as well as online methods. The online methods for the payment of the application fee are: “Debit/credit card or Net Banking”. The last date for the payment of the application fee related to this NDA Exam 2022 is different for SBI Bank Challan and for the online payment. Check the IMPORTANT DATE section for detail.

 

Procedure for applying for this UPSC NDA 1 Recruitment 2022

NOTE-1: The applicants are advised to submit only a single application related to the NDA Exam 2022. However if due to any unavoidable situation, he submits another/multiple applications, then he must ensure that the application with the higher RID is complete in all respects including the applicant's details, examination centre, photograph, signature, photo identity card document, fee, etc. The applicants who are submitting multiple applications should note that only the applications with higher RID (Registration ID) shall be entertained by the Commission and the fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.

 

NOTE-2: Applicant should also have details of one photo ID viz. Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ School Photo ID/Any other photo ID Card issued by the State/Central Government. The details of this photo ID will have to be provided by the candidate while filling up the online application form. The same photo ID card will also have to be uploaded with the Online Application Form. This photo ID will be used for all future referencing and the candidate is advised to carry this ID while appearing for examination/SSB.

 

NOTE-3: All applicants whether already in Government Service including candidates serving in the Armed Forces, Sailors (including boys and artificers apprentices) of the Indian Navy, Cadets of Rashtriya Indian Military College (previously known as Sainik School, Dehradun), Students of Rashtriya Military Schools (formerly known as Military Schools) and Sainik Schools run by Sainik Schools Society, Government owned industrial undertakings or other similar organizations or in private employment should apply online directly to the Commission.
