Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) has released the civil services preliminary exam 2022 notification. The Civil Service Exam (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to higher civil services of the Government of India. It includes the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, and Indian Police Service. It is conducted in three stages. Preliminary exam, Main Exam, and Interview.

are available on the official website. The release of the UPSC Civil Service
Exam has also activated the registration link for the exam. The candidates
who wish to apply for the UPSC CSE preliminary exam can do it. The link

Age Bond: The
candidate should have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained
the age of 32 years. The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable for
reserved category candidates.
Educational
Qualification: The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any
stream from a recognized university can apply for the IAS Exam 2022.

Vacancy details: The number of vacancies
to be filled through the examination is expected to be approximately 861 which
includes 34 vacancies reserved for persons with the benchmark disability category.
Application Fee for UPSC CSE 2022
Mode of Payment: The application fee
related to the UPSC Civil Services Exam will be done through debit card,
credit card, and net banking. The application fee for the different categories
are as follow:

For General/OBC candidates the application fee
is 100/-
·
There is no application fee for female/SC/ST/PH
category candidates.
Selection Process for UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022
Candidates will have to appear for the CSE preliminary
exam. Those who clear the prelims exam will have to clear the main exam
followed by an interview. The UPSC CSE prelims exam will be objective in
nature. The main exam will have a descriptive paper. To be recruited,
candidates are required to qualify in all the examinations. The candidates
should note that there will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by a candidate
in the objective-type question papers. The following three stages are mentioned

Candidates must visit the official website of the UPSC
department to get the online application form.
·
Fill in the particulars in the application form
such as the name of the candidate, gender, date of birth, caste, and other
information.

Applicants must upload a copy of the documents
with their signature and a passport photo.
·
Candidate must pay the application fee through
the online mode such as Debit Card, Credit Card, and Net Banking.
·
After finishing the payment process candidates
need to click on the final submit button.
·
Candidates must take a softcopy of the
application for future reference.
