Exam Pattern of the SSC Stenographer 2024

During the stenography test, candidates will be given a dictation that lasts for 10 minutes, which will be delivered in either English or Hindi, depending on the choice made during the online application process. The dictation is presented at a speed of 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) for those applying for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ position, while candidates aiming for the Stenographer Grade ‘D’ position will receive the dictation at a speed of 80 w.p.m. It is important to note that the dictation must be accurately transcribed using a computer. The allotted time for completing this transcription is specified as follows:
