Eligibility
Criteria for Applying for these railway jobs in India
Age Restrictions (as of
02-08-2023): The
age limit for applying to this North Eat railway recruitment process is as
follows:
· Minimum
Age: Applicants must be at least 15 years old for applying for these railway jobs.

Maximum
Age: The maximum age is 24 years old.
Note: Candidates must be at least 15 years old
and no older than 24 years old on August 2, 2023. The upper age restriction for
SC/ST applicants is eased by 5 years, and the upper age limit for OBC
candidates is relaxed by 3 years. Age relaxation of up to ten years is
permissible for Divyang applicants.
Qualification: Candidates must have a
High School/ 10th Class with a minimum of 50% marks and an ITI certificate in
the Relevant Trade.
Physical Criteria: The selected candidates
invited for document verification must present a Medical Certificate obtained
by an authorized Medical Officer in the attached required format. The Railway
Board's norms will control Divyang's eligibility for specific trades.
How much
is the Application fee for applying?
Candidates will be required to pay a processing
fee of Rs.100/-. Candidates from SC/ST/EWS/Divyang (PwBD)/Women are exempt from
paying the processing fee.
Mode of Payment: You must pay the application fee online.
Selection
Process
The merit list, which will be created using the average of the candidates'
percentage marks in both the Matriculation [with a minimum of 50% (aggregate)
marks] and ITI examinations, will be used to select the candidates who are
eligible to receive training under the Apprentice Act, 1961.
The candidate may select more than one place or
unit. If his or her merit position prevents the assignment of first choice, he
or she will be assigned second choice.
Candidates who have been provisionally chosen
for document verification will be contacted for the process at Gorakhpur, where
they will be required to bring a copy of their online application, a medical
certificate in the required format, four passport-sized photos, and all of
their original certificates and testimonials for verification.
Successful candidates will begin their
apprenticeship program at the designated Division/Unit.
Process
for Applying
The applicant should verify their eligibility for
the position before submitting an online application. On July 3, 2023, the
server will open at 10:00 a.m. for online applications and shut at 17:00 p.m.
