The Indian Army has recently released the details for the upcoming 51st Entry Course of the Technical Entry Scheme (TES), scheduled to commence in July 2024. Prospective candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria may apply for the 51st Army TES entry online via the designated URL: www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. The Army TES 51 Notification will be published in the employment newspaper from October 7 to October 13, 2023. Applicants may submit their online application for Army TES-51 from October 13 of the same year. Applications are currently being accepted from single male candidates who have completed their 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (henceforth referred to as PCM) and have also taken the JEE (Mains) 2023 exam. Eligibility

Education: Only applicants who have passed the
10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in
Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from recognized education boards are
eligible to apply for this Indian Army entrance examination.
Note: The JEE Mains 2023 exam is required for
applying to this TES course.
Age Limit: The candidate must not be below 16 1/2 years or above 19 1/2 years of age. The candidate should have been born between 02 July 2004 and 01 July 2007 (both days inclusive).
The
Selection Process
- Application shortlisting: The Army's Integrated
Headquarters (MoD) retains the power to prioritize proposals and set a deadline
without providing a rationale. The candidate will be notified through email of
their center allotment following the shortlisting of candidates. Candidates
will be given firm dates for the SSB after the Selection Centre is assigned.
- Only qualified candidates who have been
shortlisted based on the cutoff will go through SSB, which will be conducted by
psychologists, group testing officers, and interviewers in one of the selection
centers, which are located in Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru
(Karnataka), or Kapurthala (Punjab).
- The appropriate Selection Centres will send a
call-up letter for the SSB interview through SMS and the candidate's registered
email address only.

- There will be two stages to the selection
process for candidates. After passing Stage I, candidates advance to Stage II.
On the same day, those who don't pass Stage I will be sent back.
Physical Parameter
Applicants need to be in good physical and
mental health. No applicant who is in poor health in any way will be accepted
into the academy.
· Height: The minimum required
height according to the standard is 157.5 cm (applicants from the Northeastern
Indian region, the Garhwal and Kumaon Himalayas, and the Gorkha community have
a 5 centimetre height measure alleviation).
· Chest Expansion: This procedure is
essential for determining a candidate's lung capacity. It is necessary to wait
at least 5 cm following a complete expiration.
· No mental breakdown: Applicants shouldn't
have a history of mental illness.
· Hearing Power: As a fit individual,
you should have excellent hearing power. From a distance of 610cm, the
applicant should be able to hear a force with each ear in a quote.
· Mild Kyphosis: A rare
condition in which a person has difficulty moving their muscles normally.
· Eye Sight: Candidates should have
clear vision even if they are slightly up and down; Myopia should be no more
than 2.5 D and Hypermetropia should be no more than 3.5 D.
· Teeth: Yes, teeth play a function in physical
standards as well. Candidates must have at least 14 dental points out of a
possible total of 22.
